Restaurant APANI® offers healthy Japanese specialities prepared by experienced Slovak chefs under the leadership of Alexander Illeš, one of the most well-known experts on Japanese cuisine. Even the Japanese appreciated his talent.

The flavours of the food we serve in our restaurant were tested in the country of the rising sun. You can order the world renowned tempura or a salmon tataki, but you might also want to try a beef steak or a traditional curry. The freshness and diversity of ingredients is essential for the preparation of our meals. We offer various beverages that go well with our delicious food, such as Japanese beer, quality sake or whiskey. The preparation of loose tea is a ritual for the Japanese. Our well-prepared staff will demonstrate their mastery.

Visiting APANI® will become a ritual with an exotic flavour for you and your friends. APANI® restaurant is open daily from 11:30 to 15:00 for lunch menu and later from 17:00 to 23:00.

Welcome to APANI®, a unique restaurant where you can be part of a genuine culinary experience, prepared with joy and creativity by me and my team. I hope its inspirational atmosphere combined with various flavors and aromas will create an unforgettable experience that will keep you coming back for more.

I have worked hard to improve under the supervision of the best chefs and sushi experts in Prague or Bratislava. Most of my inspiration comes from Japan. During my visits, I explored local specialties and the culture of Japanese cuisine. I learned about the Japanese philosophy of life and how it influences their everyday eating habits.
